> What’s your occupation and what are you passionate about? I work as a site supervisor in a group home for folks with developmental disabilities. I love it! The people who live there have enriched my life tremendously. They make me smile! What I’m passionate about it is my family. Married 33 years… two sons, two daughter-in-laws, and five grandchildren, plus one on the way! My family comes first; they light up my life and bring me joy.
> What do you think of ‘the church’ in Western NY? The church in WNY seems strong. I go to The Chapel and I see what they do for the community; it’s just fantastic.
> What ministry would you recommend? I’ve seen so many people and families come to Christ through Kingdom Bound. I knew and loved the founder, Fred Caserta, and shared his vision. We have been volunteering there for 25 years. My sons grew up going to KB and seeing the impact it made on people’s lives.
> What would you like to see change, for the better, in WNY? I want people to love Buffalo like I do. There is no where else like it. It’s a blue-collar, hardworking place to live. The people are the best!
> What advice would you give to Christians who are struggling in some way? Never never ever give up on God. In 2008, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Struggle? Oh yes. I thought I was going to die. God Almighty was with me every step of the way. It was like He came down from heaven and held my hand through the whole time. Never give up; trust God for all things!
