Get the Doyle Brothers CD at Andersons

Ryan and Todd Doyle are brothers who went to suburban Buffalo’s Williamsville East High School, and they’ve been part of the band More Than Me for over a decade now, having toured all over. Lately, they’ve turned their attention to recording as a duo known as “The Doyle Brothers.” Think Everly Brothers-meets-Michael Buble to get an idea of their sound, as they cover classic oldies like “Dream Lover,” “Run Around Sue,” and “Earth Angel,” all three of which are available on a superb CD, “Take 2,” at area Andersons.

Get this– when you buy the new CD for $4.99 at the counter of area Andersons Custard in Erie County, the money goes toward the local Variety Club AND you get a coupon for a free Curly-Q fries! What is not to like?

On the CD you’ll hear some insanely catchy originals like “Take My Chance With You” and “Mama Said,” as well as fresh covers of tunes like “Happy Together” and “Can’t Help Falling In Love.” The brothers’ voices blend well, harmonically, with Ryan’s tenor and Todd’s baritone making for a nice back-and-forth sound that draws the listener right into each song. You may see the duo locally sometimes, though lately they’ve been spending most of their time living and gigging in New York City.
